Sydney, November, 25 – The Benchmark 70 event over 1600 metres at Warwick Farm on Wednesday was won by Anabaa (USA) four year-old Relentless Lad, a $140,000 purchase from the Yarraman draft at the 2007 Magic Millions National Yearling Sale.
Having his second run back from a spell, the Graeme Rogerson trained gelding stripped fitter this time around, powering home to win by more than a length taking his overall prizemoney to just shy of $100,000.
Bred on the very successful Anabaa (USA) x Zabeel cross that has produced Group One AJC Australian Derby winner Headturner and stakes-winners such as Pravana, Relentless Lad is from Sahayb, who comes from the family of champion two year-old Burst.
Yarraman Park has an outstanding draft of 33 yearlings for the 2010 Magic Millions Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast including 13 by Magic Albert.
