Sydney, February 26 – Astute country trainer Peter Nestor seldom comes to the city unless he has a top chance with star country mare Miss Alberta becoming the latest offspring of Magic Albert to crack $100,000 in prizemoney after scoring an easy win at Randwick’s ‘Pink Stiletto’ day last Friday.

Five year-old Miss Alberta charged home to win the 1550 metre restricted event by two lengths taking her overall record to eight wins from 16 starts with prizemoney of $106,840.

Bred by Magic Albert’s trainer Albert Stapleford, Miss Alberta was bought for $32,000 at the Inglis Scone Yearling Sale by her owners.

Miss Alberta is a full sister to another good metropolitan winner in Toldyas and is one of five winners from Balciano Miss, who has been a regular visitor to Magic Albert and has a yearling filly and filly foal also by the sire and is back in foal to him again.
