Demand for yearlings by I Am Invincible continued during the second session of the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale with two more youngsters by our flagship sire fetching seven figures.
Yarraman Park sold a cracking I Am Invincible colt from stakes-winner Hoss Amor for $1,050,000 to China Horse Club / John O’Shea Racing / Boomer Bloodstock (FBAA).
The colt will be prepared by Randwick trainer John O’Shea, who also trained his mother.
“To me, he is the best I Am Invincible here and obviously I had an affiliation with his mother and he looks a ready-made two-year-old,” O’Shea told ANZ News.
“We put a syndicate together to buy him with China Horse Club and Boomer Bloodstock, so he is a wonderful opportunity for our clients to get access to a horse of that quality.”
Also selling for $1million was a stunning I Am Invincible colt from stakes-winner Marianne that was offered by Kitchwin Hills and bought by the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
Both Marianne and Hoss Amor were among the 200 mares covered last spring by I Am Invincible.
After two sessions, I Am Invincible has had 23 yearlings sell at an average $511,522.
