Brisbane, September 25 – Magic Albert posted a new metropolitan winner at Eagle Farm on Wednesday when the Barry Bowditch trained filly Magic Procession took the 1000 metre maiden by more than a length.
Resuming from a spell of 12 weeks having been placed twice previously, Magic Procession was retained to race by breeders and is a full sister to smart metropolitan performer Magic Promenade being from the Naturalism mare Pugilista.
Also trained by Barry Bowditch, Magic Promenade is a winner of four races from 13 starts and over $70,000 in prizemoney.
Magic Procession is one of 14 winners since the start of the season for Magic Albert, who continues to do a great job and has progeny from his best books of mares still in the pipeline.
