Yarraman Park’s flagship sire I Am Invincible surged to the top of the leading sires by average list at the Magic Millions Yearling Sale following the second session with 20 yearlings averaging $543,750.
His top sellers on Wednesday were fillies from Group winners Eloping and Flying Snitzel that sold for $900,000 and $800,000 to Godolphin and Willinga Park Operations.
Fillies by I Am Invincible have been particularly popular and he is currently the sire of the four top priced fillies sold at this sale so far and six of the top seven.
Demand for yearlings by I Am Invincible’s Group I winning son Hellbent has also been super strong with 16 yearlings so far selling at an average $170,625, a sensational result from a $27,500 fee.
His top seller on Wednesday was a filly from Fimatino that made $360,000 for Tyreel Stud when knocked down to The Racing League, while a Yarraman Park consigned colt from Geneteau made $260,000 to the bid of Tasman Bloodstock.
