Brisbane, December 9 – Classy Magic Albert mare Plain Magic bounced back to her best form to win the Class Six event at Doomben on Saturday over 1200 metres by two lengths.

Stakes-placed last season, the Kelly Shweida trained mare has been very consistent boasting an overall record of four wins and three placings from 12 starts with prizemoney in excess of $160,000.

Plain Magic runs in the ownership of Racetree proprietor Kevin Dixon and was purchased for $19,000 from the draft of Sellwood Holdings at the 2007 Magic Millions Premier Yearling Sale.

She is a full sister to another handy winner in Mistry being from the Forest Glow (USA) mare Glow Misty for Me, a daughter of stakes-placed Misty Power from a very fast running female family.

Magic Albert has strong representation at upcoming sales including 20 youngsters to be offered at the 2010 Magic Millions Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast.
