March 16 – Brilliant Belong to Me (USA) mare Belong to Many led her rivals a merry dance when she led throughout to win the Listed AJC Wenona Girl Quality over 1200 metres at Randwick on Saturday, providing a pedigree update for her half-sister by Flying Spur that will be offered by Yarraman Park at the 2009 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.

Always hard to catch when allowed her own way in front, the Barb Joseph trained Belong to Many skipped away at the top of the straight and defied all challengers to win from Espurante and Ugly Betty.

A modest from the 2005 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale, Belong to Many was also a Group Two winner last autumn and has the overall record of seven wins and 10 placings from 25 starts earning close to $400,000 for her large syndicate of owners put together by Shelly Hancox Bloodstock.

Belong to Many is from the Snippets mare Foil, whose yearling filly by Flying Spur will be offered by Yarraman Park at the 2009 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale as Lot 492.

Another Yarraman Easter yearling with an update is Lot 432, a Fastnet Rock filly from terrific producer Crowing Jewel, the dam of three Group winners in So Gorgeous, Wild Queen and Cumbria.

Veewap, the Lonhro three year-old from Crowning Jewel, has won two of his three starts since resuming from a spell, saluting in a Ratings 72 event at Ballarat last Friday.

A more than handy type that fetched $110,000 when purchased by Harry Lawton from the Yarraman draft at the 2007 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale, the Tony Vasil trained Veewap has now won three from six with more success very much on the cards.
