Sydney, April 19 – Magic Albert has had four winners in past two days and added a new stakes horse to his tally at Randwick on Saturday when Howdiddydoit ran a game second in the Listed AJC Fernhill Handicap over 1600 metres.

Trained by Rick Worthington, Howdidddydoit has been competitive in some of the better races for colts and geldings during the autumn, running fourth to Decision Time in the Listed Canberra Black Opal and fifth to Masquerader in the Group Two STC Todman Stakes.

Stepping up to the 1600 metres for the first time last Saturday, Howdiddydoit bowled along up on the pace before being run down late by the Bart Cummings trained Kudakulari and beaten a length.

Retained to race by his breeders, Howdiddydoit is from the Flying Spur mare Spurnof, who comes from the family of Group One VATC Blue Diamond Stakes winner Knowledge.

Magic Albert has had 50 individual winners this season of $1.5 million in earnings led by stakes-winners Plain Magic and Master Harry.
