Yarraman Park took a small draft of seven to the 2020 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale this week in Victoria and achieved 100% clearance in selling all seven youngsters for $975,000.

Top seller was a lovely bay I Am Invincible filly from Redoute’s Choice mare You Can Dance that made $250,000 when knocked down to Natalie McCall Racing.

Our champion sire I Am Invincible had just five yearlings offered for sale and all were sold at an average $263,000.

His best result was for Longwood Thoroughbred Farm, who sold a colt from outstanding producer Runaway Jesse for $375,000.

The half-brother to Group III winners Eloping and Of the Brave was bought for Hong Kong by Ricky You.

“He was very athletic, is a nice individual and I always want to train another horse by I Am Invincible,” You told ANZ Bloodstock News.

“He ticks all the boxes and has a nice head. He walks very balanced and has good proportions. He is my cup of tea.”

Longwood Thoroughbreds’ Michael Christian said: “He was a lovely colt and he goes to one of the best trainers in Hong Kong, so we’ll be watching him on the (TV) screens. The whole family indeed has a great temperament and he has a great temperament and hopefully one day after he’s successful on the track in Hong Kong he’ll come back here to stand as a stallion.”

The last crop of Hinchinbrook yearlings were also popular with 11 selling at an average $113,182, his best result a colt from Whitney that made $190,000 for Gilgai Farm and was also bought by Ricky You.

We congratulate all purchasers and wish everyone the best of luck going forward.
