WA based Yarradale Stud were active at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale this week securing four yearlings for $2,050,000 and an I Am Invincible filly they co-purchased last year was a debut winner at Belmont on Thursday.
Trained by Dan and Ben Pearce, Cos I Am was having her first start in the 1000m maiden and finished off too well for race favourite One Last Resort to win by half length.

Cos I Am was plucked from the Silverdale Farm draft for $500,000 by Pearce Racing / Yarradale Stud / Boomer Bloodstock and is the first foal of L’Cosmo, a metro winning Lonhro daughter of dual Group I winner Cosmic Endeavour.
It’s a prolific Black Type family that has produced Group I winner Fairy King Prawn and Easy Rocking with her foruth dam the Group II winning blue hen Twiglet.
Silverdale Farm sold the second foal from L’Cosmo at Inglis Easter this week with John Thompson Racing paying $450,000 for the filly by Snitzel.
Cos I Am is the sixth 2YO winner this season for I Am Invincible and they include Group I winning colt Seize the Day and Group II winning filly Chayan.
