Sydney, October 18 – Patinack Farm owned Magic Albert filly Madeittothemoon turned in a terrific run on debut at Randwick on Saturday splitting the stakes-placed pair of Horizons and Winter King to grab second in the open juvenile event over 1000 metres.
Trained at Kembla Grange by Tim Murphy, Madeittothemoon ran home strongly to be beaten less than two lengths in the very good time of 57.23 seconds and will doubtless take improvement from the run.
A $37,500 purchase from the draft of Stratheden Stud at the 2008 Magic Millions Yearling Sale, Madeittothemoon is from the Luskin Star mare Our Promise, a three-quarter sister-in-blood to former brilliant juvenile Bold Promise, the dam of Golden Slipper winner Merlene and dual Group One winner Miss Pennymoney.
