Hong Kong, September 13 – Opening his winning account at Sha Tin on Sunday was well bred three year-old Flying Spur colt Real Supreme, a $220,000 Magic Millions purchase for the Hong Kong Jockey Club from the Yarraman Park draft.

Placed in two of his four starts last season, the Peter Ng trained colt settled in third place during the run before finishing off with a good turn of foot to win the 1400 metre event by half a length with Zac Purton in the saddle.

Real Supreme is the second foal and first winner for slick sprinter Irgunette, who won six races and was stakes-placed in Australia before going to the US where she finished second in the Group Two Hollywood Dahlia Handicap.
