A sleek brown sprinting colossus, Brazen Beau has put his young sire I Am Invincible on the map in no uncertain terms in winning Australia’s greatest sprint race, the Group I VRC Newmarket Handicap by nearly three lengths and this week he will fly the Aussie flag at Royal Ascot.

Champion trainer Chris Waller was hoping to conquer Royal Ascot last year with star colt Zoustar, whose tilt at greatness was derailed through injury, but this time around all has gone smoothly for Brazen Beau.

Bought from the Murrulla Stud draft at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale for $70,000 by Grant Morgan’s OnTrack Thoroughbreds, Brazen Beau has a big team of owners that will surely be ecstatic just to be at Royal Ascot!

Bred by former top jockey and successful trainer Bernie Howlett, Brazen Beau does not possess the flash female pedigree of some of his peers, but what he does have is an explosive double cross of two champion speed sires in Danzig and Bletchingly.

Brazen Beau’s dam Sansadee has been to no other stallion since he was born and will foal again to I Am Invincible this spring.
The Group I Diamond Jubilee Stakes seems to be the preferred target for Brazen Beau and we wish him the very best of luck!
