Three-year-old Hellbent filly Benedetta is on a fast track to stakes company after walloping a handy field of fillies in the Thoroughbred Club Australia (Bm64) over 1300m at Sandown-Hillside on Wednesday.

A Breednet One To Watch following her last start win at Cranbourne, the Jason Warren-trained filly finished full of running under Daniel Stackhouse to win by two and a quarter lengths.

Benedetta is unlucky not to have a perfect record. At her debut at Moe on December 9, she rattled home for a luckless third.

Immediate plans for the filly involve a 10 day freshen up in a paddock while connections plan her autumn campaign.

She runs in the famous colours of Laurence Eales that were carried by Melbourne Cup winner Shocking and was a $75,000 Inglis Premier purchase for Eales Racing Syndications from the Mill Park draft.

A half-sister to Group II placed Whatfox, she was bred by Brenton and Liz Parker and is the second winner from Group II placed Domesday mare Whatalovelyday, who comes from the family of Group I winners Leica Guv, Light Fantastic and Pharoah.
