Sydney, June 9 – Improving mare Commanding Wit scored her first metropolitan Saturday success at Randwick last weekend, saluting for her breeders Tim and Jacqui Hughes and the Dufficy brothers.
Now with Peter and Paul Snowden, the four year-old daughter of Commands has won three of her past four starts and took the Benchmark 80 event over 1200 metres by half a length.
With four wins and six placings from 11 starts, Commanding Wit has won over $140,000 in prizemoney.
Foaled and raised at Yarraman Park, Commanding Wit is a three-quarter sister to stakes-placed Fast Talker being from stakes-winning Crystal Wit, a half-sister by Distorted Humor (USA) to Golden Slipper winner Crystal Lily.
