The Australian Turf Club has received 2006 nominations for next year’s Golden Slipper at Rosehill with significant entries for Yarraman Park based sires I Am Invincible, Hinchinbrook and Magic Albert.

With 20 individual two year-old winners this season, last year’s Champion Australian First Season Sire I Am Invincible has proven himself as an outstanding source of juvenile talent.

He has 40 entries for the 2016 Golden Slipper and among them is his top seller for 2015, a stunning colt from River’s Secret that made $750,000 at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale for Yarraman Park when secured by China Horse Club/ Stonestreet Stables.

The star colt has been entered by Peter and Paul Snowden, who have also entered the full brother to Group II BRC Sires Produce Stakes winner Look to the Stars.

This year’s Champion Australian First Season Sire elect Hinchinbrook has 37 entries with nominations coming from leading stables such as Gai Waterhouse, Chris Waller and David Hayes /Tom Dabernig, while Kris Lees has entered five of his stock highlighted by the half-sister to star gallopers Shooting to Win and Deep Field.

Not to be left out, Magic Albert also has 13 entries for the world’s richest juvenile race.
