Sydney, December 14 – Magic Albert gelding Something Anything is in career best form at present making it back-to-back wins with a powerful victory at Rosehill on Saturday lugging 59.5 kg.

An easy winner last start on the Kensington track on November 29, the Gary Portelli trained Something Anything was equally impressive in taking the 1400 metre welter on Saturday surging at the finish to score by half a length.

A $40,000 purchase from the draft of Yarraman Park at the 2005 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale, Something Anything has the overall record of six wins and 13 placings from 32 starts with prizemoney of $442,820 and will now be looking at some stakes races over the summer months.

Something Anything is the sixth foal of the Kala Dancer (GB) mare Maline, a three-quarter sister-in-blood to We’re Dancing and half-sister to Group Three winner Allez Glen.

Magic Albert also had a metropolitan winner over in Perth with stylish filly Admirable posting her second metro success when scoring by two lengths in the open three year-old event over 1200 metres.

Trained by George Daly, Admirable is from the Danewin mare Starglow Express.

Magic Albert has three yearlings catalogued for the 2009 Magic Millions Yearling Sale including a sister to Group Three placed General Albert and a brother to Group Two placed Magic Jet.

At the 2009 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale, Magic Albert is poised to play a major part with an impressive draft of 18.
