June 22 – Yarraman Park is now the home of two valuable new broodmares in Mimi Lebrock and Banc de Fortune, who have been purchased by a syndicate of domestic and international breeders.

A Magic Millions winner at two, Mimi Lebrock (pictured) trained on as an older mare to win the Group Two MRC Tristarc Stakes and Group Three MRC Let’s Elope Stakes as well as placing at Group One level in the VRC Emirates Stakes and Myer Classic, retiring with five wins and prizemoney of $1.1 million.

A Group One placed stakes-winner, Banc de Fortune is bred in the purple being by champion European sire Galileo (IRE) from Group One AJC Australian Oaks winner Danendri and is a half-sister to the Group Three winner Zingam.
