Champion sire I Am Invincible finished the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale this week as the leading sire by average with all 10 yearlings selling at an average $368,000 and his filly from Special Lover selling for $1.1million top this year’s sale.
Yarraman Park sold the highest-priced colt (pictured above) by I Am Invincible with Rosemont Alliance / Suman Hedge Bloodstock (FBAA) / Moody Racing securing the half-brother to stakes-winner Solar Star from Group III winner Petty Cury for $500,000.
“A horse like him wouldn’t look out of place at Easter and perhaps be making more,” said Rosemont’s Ryan McEvoy.
“Hopefully we can land one or two more here and charge on into Easter.
“It’s a lot of fun the Alliance and clearly we’re trying to find a good fast colt that one day can find himself in a barn.”
Yarraman Park enjoyed 100% clearance at Premier selling all 11 of our yearlings for $2,530,000
Our draft also featured the equal highest-priced Hellbent yearling (pictured above) with our three-quarter sister to dual Group I winner Viddora from Snow Flight selling for $220,000 to Busuttin Racing.
Also selling for $220,000 was Henley Park’s Hellbent filly from Kyoto Moon which was snapped up B K Racing & Breeding Pty Ltd. She was a super successful pinhook for them having been sourced as a weanling at Magic Millions for $50,000.
