Hong Kong, September 15 – Four year-old Commands gelding Well Done started the new Hong Kong racing season with bang at Happy Valley on Wednesday night when he cruised home to win by more than three lengths.

The Tony Millard trained gelding had been disappointing last season, but has obviously t urned over a new leaf judging by this dominant win over 1200 metres.

Bred by the Dufficy brothers and Tim Hughes, Well Done was a $120,000 purchase for the Hong Kong Jockey Club from the Yarraman Park draft at the 2009 Magic Millions Yearling Sale and is a half-brother to Singapore Group I winner Speed Baby being the second winner from stakes-placed Distorted Humor (USA) mare Twisted Heart.

Twisted Heart has a yearling colt by Red Ransom (USA) and is due to foal to Fastnet Rock.
