The juvenile maiden at Newcastle on Sunday was won by blue-blood I Am Invincible filly Blanc de Blanc, a three-quarter sister-in-blood to Group I ATC Flight stakes winner Oohood.
Trained by Michael Freedman, Blanc de Blanc won a recent trial and went to the post a short-priced favourite for the 900m dash but was made to work for her win by Star Turn filly Saltaire.
Blanc De Blanc made him earn it, but the trip to @newcastleraces_ was worth it for @mcacajamez who got the job done on the $1.10 favourite. pic.twitter.com/tgKSuE4uqA

The pair drew clear of their rivals with James McDonald urging Blanc de Blanc home to score a head win.
A $360,000 Inglis Classic purchase for James Harron Bloodstock / Freedman Brothers Filly Partnership from the Yarraman Park draft, she is a three-quarter sister-in-blood to Group I winner Oohood from Another Sunday.
James Harron has already enjoyed success with this family having purchased dual Group I winner King’s Legacy for $1.4 million, this now promising young stallion being a three-quarter brother to the dam of Blanc de Blanc.
Any Sunday has now had three foals to race and all are winners.
Yarraman Park sold a Hellbent weanling colt from Any Sunday at the Inglis Weanling Sale this year for $60,000 to NZ-based Carlaw Park who will re-offer him at Karaka Book 1 as Lot 33.
