Sydney, April 12 – The 2013 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale provided great results for Yarraman Park with 14 yearlings sold in Session I for $3 million followed by a further six for $425,000 in Session II.

Top honours for our draft was shared by two outstanding colts that both fetched $420,000.

By champion sire Zabeel from Kisumu, the full brother to Group I SAJC Derby winner The Zabeelionaire was purchased by Jadeskye Racing, while the half-brother (pictured) by Wanted to Group winners Bliss Street and Jade Marauder from Jade Diva went to Shadwell Australia.

Other pleasing results were the More Than Ready (USA) colt from Mamgic Millions winner Mimi Lebrock that made $360,000 to the bid of Segenhoe Stud and an Al Maher filly from Speedy Bell that made $320,000 when snapped up by DGR Thoroughbreds.

A full sister to Group III winner Speedy Natalie, the Al Maher filly set a new benchmark for her sire in becoming his most expensive yearling.

We congratulate all successful purchasers and wish them the best of luck in the future
