New Zealand, October 20 – With his oldest progeny just turned four, Coolmore young gun Fastnet Rock has passed a significant milestone in siring his 100th winner.
Figures sourced from Arion show the John Sargeant trained three year-old gelding Yin Yang Master as being the 100th winner for his sire after bolting in by three and a half lengths at Te Aroha in New Zealand on Wednesday.
A $200,000 purchase for his trainer from the Yarraman Park draft at the 2009 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale, Yin Yang Master is a half-brother to stakes-placed Crazy Deputy and is the ninth foal of Crazy Fling (USA), an Alysheba daughter of dual US Group One winner Some Romance.
