Yarraman Park stallions have had an outstanding season with I Am Invincible crowned Champion Australian Sire for the third year running and setting a new seasonal record for earnings, while his Group I winning sire son Hellbent has taken the title of Champion Third Crop Sire by earnings.
I Am Invincible powered through the season siring 177 winners of over $32million in prizemoney with 15 Australian stakes-winners headed by his champion mare Imperatriz with his New Zealand based Group I winning two year-old colt Move to Strike putting the icing on the cake as his first ever G1 winning juvenile.
His total of $32.1million was astonishingly $8million clear of his nearest rival and his 15 Australian stakes-winners collected 29 stakes wins which was also the most stakes wins of any sire.
Hellbent turned the tables on his arch rival Russian Revolution to take the third season sires title with 96 winners of $10.1million headed by his Group I winning mares Magic Time and Benedetta.
I Am Invincible and Hellbent stand again this spring at fees of $275,000 and $38,500 and we look forward to parading them at our annual open day on Friday August 23 along with Brave Smash (Jpn), who has also had an exceptional season.
With his oldest progeny about to turn four, Brave Smash has sired 30 winners from 57 starters for a seasonal strike rate of 52.6% and combined earnings topping $3.2million. His winners included Group II winner Kimochi, Group III winner Brave Mead and stakes-winner Brave Spirit.
Brave Smash stands at a fee of $33,000.
