South Africa, September 18 – Featuring on the winners list at Clairwood in South Africa on Wednesday was progressive Australian bred gelding High Speed Rush.
A $100,000 purchase from the Magic Millions draft of Yarraman Park, Danehill Dancer (IRE) four year-old High Speed Rush won his second race from 10 starts when taking the graduation plate over 1800 metres by half a length.
Another successful Australian purchase for Charles Laird, High Speed Rush is the third foal of the Centaine mare Go Hayley Go, a daughter of Group Three winner Sneetch and half-sister to recent US Group One winner Black Mamba.
