Gold Coast, January 11 – Despite the tough economic climate Yarraman Park finished the 2009 Magic Millions Yearling Sale (Sessions One to Four) as third leading vendor by aggregate, their 23 youngsters selling for $3,340,000.
Highlighting the sale for Yarraman was the Redoute’s Choice colt from Twist My Heart (USA), which made $1.1million during the opening session.
The star colt, a three-quarter brother-in-blood to champion two year-old Fashions Afield, was purchased by an international syndicate assembled by Adrian Nicoll of BBA Ireland and will be trained by David Hayes.
Leading trainer Mark Kavanagh secured the only other Redoute’s Choice yearling in the draft, a colt from Grand Armee’s half-sister Swept Overboard which made $275,000.
Yarraman Park would like to thank all buyers for their support and wish them every success in the future.
