A $525,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Yarraman Park draft for Redgum Racing, Zoustar filly Zousuko produced a sparkling debut run in the Group III MRC Blue Diamond Preview (1000m) at Sandown on Australia Day to finish a close second.
Trained by John McArdle, Zousuko ran a great race for Jamie Mott to be beaten less than a length by De Sonic Boom.
She is a half-sister to three winners and is the first stakes horse from Tetsuko, a Group II placed I Am Invincible mare from the family of South African Group I winner and Champion 2YO Filly Entisaar.
Yarraman Park will offer the current yearling from Tetsuko, a filly by Written Tycoon, at Inglis Premier as Lot 191.
Tetsuko had a filly by Deep Field last year and is now in foal to Bivouac.
