Home to three G1-producing sires, Yarraman Park Stud has announced its 2026 fees and is led once again by I Am Invincible and complemented by his emerging sire son Hellbent and Brave Smash, whose exciting next chapter is just beginning.

Twelve months on and Vinnie’s influence is showing no signs of slowing, with the multiple champion sire one of only four stallions this 2025/26 season to sire multiple Group 1 winners with three, and adding two new G1 winners to his tally, bringing him to 19 individual G1 winners: Caballus, who stormed home in the Gr.1 Newmarket Handicap and is set to target the $5 million The Quokka, and the exciting two-year-old colt Seize The Day, who overpowered the Gr.1 Manawatu Sires’ Produce Stakes field winning by 4.52 lengths for Te Akau, who have had great success with Vinnie’s yearlings via two-year-old Move To Strike who won the same race and is now at stud, and the 10-time G1 winner Imperatriz.

“Vinnie continues to deliver on every front, he’s incredibly reliable. He’s striking at 81.1% winners to runners, 9.2% Stakes winners to runners and 5.5% Group winners to runners. What is prevalent is that Vinnie’s progeny are going on to produce, so he’s a safe bet and a proven choice,” said director Arthur Mitchell. “If you get a colt or a filly, they could go on to produce the next Hong Kong Derby winner like Hellbent, or the next Golden Slipper winner. Remarkably, all 12 of his sire sons with runners have produced winners. We know how difficult it is to buy a stallion, so Vinnie’s colts are a safe bet. His daughters have gone on to produce G1 winners in both hemispheres and we have no doubt he will be a very dominant broodmare sire. He’s done more than we ever dreamt of, he’s continuing to give to everyone who uses him and I know we are in for another good season with him.”

His strength in the sales ring continued on in 2026, and as the highest-represented active sire at Inglis Easter (41 yearlings) and 40 catalogued at Magic Millions, he achieved a phenomenal average across the two sales of $622,787. And with mares such as Shillelagh, Shoals, Zougotcha, Zoudancer, Floozie, etc., expected to foal this season, Vinnie’s star looks set to rise higher.

I Am Invincible will stand at an unchanged fee of $220,000 including GST.

A champion in waiting, Vinnie’s sire son Hellbent is emerging as a genuine force in the Australasian stallion ranks. He sits comfortably in the Top 10 General Sires’ Premiership this season in eighth position for $11,154,174 in progeny earnings, a jump from 14th last season, highlighting the trajectory he’s on.

From siring the BMW Hong Kong Derby winner in Invincible Ibis, who dominated the 2000m race winning by 1.25 lengths and has amassed A$4 million in prizemoney, to siring five G1 performers this season, Hellbent’s progeny are showing their versatility across a range of distances along with their ability to win at two, like this season’s black-type horses Zip Lock (G3 BJ McLachlan winner), Revengeance (winner of $600,000 prizemoney), Cyclotron and Hawea; and then train on as highlighted by his six-year-old daughters and G1 winners Magic Time (a $4.5-million earner, second in the G1 VRC Sprint by a head) and Benedetta ($2.4-million earner and second in the G1 Lightning in February).

Two G1 winners from his first crop, Hellbent has proved himself off lesser-quality mares and the sky’s the limit for this young stallion who, this season, has sired 15 individual Stakes performers this season alone. The aforementioned juveniles, plus his three-year-old daughter Savvy Hallie, who won twice at G2 level and placed second in the G1 Flight Stakes, as well as Magic Time, Vivy Air, Fully Lit and Benedetta all placing at G1 level this season.

With Benedetta set to be offered at the 2026 Inglis Chairman’s Sale, at last year’s breeding stock sale Hellbent’s race fillies were bought by two global powerhouse breeding operations: Katsumi Yoshida of Northern Farm in Japan, who went to $900,000 for Group 2 winner, Hell Hath No Fury; and Newgate Bloodstock, who went to $640,000 for the Magic Millions Stakes winner, Miss Hellfire.

In the sales ring, his 2026 yearlings made up to $600,000 at Magic Millions bought by Michael Freedman and Andrew Williams Bloodstock (FBAA), and he averaged $300,000 at Inglis Easter with a 100% clearance rate. In the paddocks, Hellbent is all-bases loaded with exciting weanlings or in-foal mares including Egyptian Symbol, Hiccups (the dam of Sunrays), Octavia (the dam of King Of Sparta), etc. Yarraman Park and his shareholders have quietly sung the song that the future is Hellbent, and with this season’s results and what’s to come, Hellbent’s success is only going to get louder.

Hellbent will stand for an increased fee of $55,000 including GST.

Yarraman Park’s third sire, Brave Smash, enters his fourth season at the Hunter Valley stud, and welcomed his first yearlings conceived at the farm at this year’s sales.

Buyers showed strong support and confidence in Brave Smash throughout the yearling sales, with the sire achieving a 100% clearance rate in Book 1 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale. He also recorded his highest-priced yearling to date when a colt out of Tetsuko sold to George Moore Bloodstock of Hong Kong for $380,000.

At the Inglis Classic, Grahame Begg and Rohan Hughes went to $300,000 for a colt out of The Natural. Other buyers across the sales included Ciaron Maher, Danny O’Brien (who trains Brave Design, a two-year-old stakes winner), Gary Portelli, Moody Racing, Kurrinda Bloodstock, ready-to-run consignor Ohukia Lodge, and Fred Noffke, who purchased the 2026 Gr.1 Randwick Guineas-Doncaster winner Sheza Alibi.

“Achieving a career-best price for a yearling this year just shows the quality of mare he’s receiving,” explained Harry Mitchell. “He throws a good type, a type trainers like, and on the race track he’s going well from small numbers. He has seven stakes horses including a G1 winner from his first crop. They’re tough and enjoy their jobs, like Brave Smash, and we know they suit our racing here. We’re looking forward to seeing his two-year-olds step out and we will continue to support him along with our partners Emirates Park and others.”

When it comes to finding the right mare for Brave Smash, the appeal is straightforward. He is a stallion of consistency who leaves athletic, strong, clean-made stock with the powerful hindquarter of a natural sprinter. Pedigree-wise, he is completely free of Danehill blood, carries a double cross of Northern Taste and is the fastest son of the Sunday Silence sire line to stand at stud in Australia. His in-foal book includes Noondie, Tetsuko, Overstep, Bonita Aurelia and Sognani, the dam of Kristilli. With four seasons of hard work by Yarraman and his shareholders completed, Brave Smash is building into one of the most exciting emerging sires in the country.

Brave Smash will stand for a slightly reduced fee of $22,000 including GST.

As the roster continues to build momentum, the door remains open for breeders looking to be part of what comes next, with I Am Invincible, Hellbent and Brave Smash all poised to build on their growing influence in the seasons ahead.
