Sydney, June 29 – The first youngsters by our promising young sire I Am Invincible proved popular at the 2012 Inglis Australian Select Weanling Sale this week.

Top seller for I Am Invincible was a well grown athletic brown filly from Dublin Me Bet (NZ) that made $52,000 for Middlebrook Valley Lodge when knocked down to Aquanita Racing.

She is the second foal of the young O’Reilly mare Dublin Me Bet, who is a grand-daughter of Group II winning sprinter Double Your Bet from the family of multiple Group I winning filly Diamond Shower.

Renowned New Zealand pinhookers Ascot Farm paid $27,000 for an I Am Invincible colt from Lolly Lover that was also presented by Middlebrook Valley Lodge.

Also headed to New Zealand, a colt from Evil Sisters (NZ), that was bought from the Sefton Park Stud draft for $23,000 by Michael Wallace Bloodstock.

I Am Invincible had seven youngsters sell during the Select part of the sale at an average $20,429.

A brilliant sprinter by leading European sire Invincible Spirit (IRE), I Am Invincible has been well supported in his first two seasons covering books of 133 and 140 mares and stands his third season at a fee of $11,000.
