Sydney, January 22 – I Am Invincible had the biggest representation of any sire at the 2013 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale and his stock proved a real winner with the buyers in attendance.
He had 21 yearlings sell at an average $30,476, with only two youngsters from his large consignment failing to find new homes.
Top sellers for I Am Invincible were a colt and filly that both sold for $70,000.
The colt from Sansadee was offered by Murrulla Stud and bought by Ontrack Thoroughbreds, while the filly from Lili Marlene was consigned by Bowness Stud and bought by Portelli Racing.
Just behind them was a colt from Sweet Maggie that made $62,500 for Lustre Lodge when knocked down to Tony Pike.
I Am Invincible has proven a resounding success for his supporters off an $11,000 fee.
