There are over 2300 entries for the 2022 Golden Slipper to be run at Rosehill in March next year and Yarraman Park’s champion sire I Am Invincible has the most of any sire with 124.

His entries are headed by his most expensive yearling sold in 2021, the filly from star producer Hips Don’t Lie (pictured above) that was bought by Sheamus Mills Bloodstock for $1,950,000 at Inglis Easter.

A half-sister to stakes-winners Lake Geneva, Ennis Hill and this season’s unbeaten juvenile Acrobat, the star filly has been entered by Mick Price Racing.

Another of his high profile entries is two year-old colt I Am Caviar, whose dam is undefeated world champion sprinter Black Caviar.

A good number of his Slipper entered two year-olds have been named and they include:

Hawaii Five Oh – full brother to G2 winner Libertini.
Cassadee – filly, first foal from NZ Horse of the Year Bonneval.
Dakota Vroom – filly, first foal from G1 Blue Diamond Stakes winner Catchy.
Johnny Dash – half-brother to G1 Robert Sangster Stakes winner Spright.
Kingwell – half-brother to dual G1 winner and sire Extreme Choice.
Monte Invincible – half-sister to G1 winner Shooting to Win and G2 winner Deep Field.
Ten Trinity Square – full brother to G2 winner Pure Elation.
The Cross – colt, first foal of G1 winner Thee Auld Floozie.
Night Move – $1.25million filly from SW Vezalay.
Enviable – $1million colt from G2 winner Villa Verde.
Tailwinds – filly from G2 winner Wild Rain.

I Am Invincible’s Group I winning son Hellbent also has the potential to figure in Golden Slipper calculation with 49 entries which is the second highest number for all first season sires.
