Yarraman Park’s Hellbent has had a breakout season in many ways in terms of earnings and stakes-winners with part of that success coming in Hong Kong and a double at Sha Tin on Wednesday added to his merit.

The Michael Chang trained four year-old Straight to Glory landed his fourth win from 17 starts when charging between horses to snatch a neck win in the 1000m Class 3 sprint.

Straight to Glory was bred by Yarraman Park and sold through the Rushton Park draft at the Inglis Great Southern Weanling Sale for $36,000 to The Kiwi Bloodstock Group & TJB / Caple Equine.

He is the fourth winner from five foals to race from Witless, a three-quarter sister-in-blood to Golden Slipper winner Crystal Lily from the family of triple Group I winner Zougotcha.

The Jamie Richards trained four year-old Lahore scored a head win in the 1000m Class 4 sprint and has now won two of 12 starts.

Lahore was a $310,000 Inglis Easter purchase from Milburn Creek for Jamie Richards Racing / Andrew Williams Bloodstock and is the best of two winners from Angasi, a winning half-sister by Street Boss (USA) to Group II winner Shoreham.

Hellbent has had nine winners in Hong Kong this season from 21 runners and they include his Hong Kong Derby hero Invincible Ibis.

Hellbent earned a fee increase for 2026 and stands at $55,000 alongside his champion sire I Am Invincible at $220,000.
